Suriya‘s ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ recorded an upward movement in its box office earnings on Day 15.According to Sacnilk, ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ earned an estimated Rs 1.92 crore net in India on its third Friday. The figure marks a 47.7% rise over the Rs 1.30 crore collected on Day 14.The latest numbers have taken the movie’s India net collection to Rs 111.07 crore. Its total India gross collection has reached Rs 128.53 crore.
‘Vishwanath and Sons’ Day 15 box office collection
‘Vishwanath and Sons’ completed its first week with Rs 81.60 crore in India net collections. The movie added another Rs 27.55 crore during its second week.The Suriya starrer earned Rs 2.35 crore on Day 13. Its collection then fell to Rs 1.30 crore on Day 14. The movie recovered on its third Friday. It registered Rs 1.92 crore on Day 15.The latest collection came from 1,241 shows. The movie recorded an overall occupancy of 32.4% across India on Friday.
‘Vishwanath and Sons’ language-wise collection
The Tamil and Telugu versions contributed almost equally to the movie’s Day 15 performance. The Tamil version collected Rs 92 lakhs net. It recorded an overall occupancy of 46.89%.The Telugu version earned Rs 1 crore on the same day. Its overall occupancy stood at 29.48%.The Tamil version registered its highest occupancy during the night shows. The figure stood at 50.33%. The Telugu version also witnessed its strongest response at night. Its occupancy reached 39.92%.The combined India net collection of ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ now stands at Rs 111.07 crore.

‘Vishwanath and Sons’ has grossed Rs 61.25 crore overseas so far. Its India gross collection stands at Rs 128.53 crore. Adding the overseas gross of Rs 61.25 crore takes the movie’s worldwide gross collection to Rs 189.78 crore.The figure places the Suriya starrer well ahead of the Rs 150 crore worldwide milestone.
‘DC’ box office collection
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘DC’ has recorded a worldwide gross collection of Rs 101.45 crore so far. The movie’s India gross stands at Rs 78.14 crore. Its India net collection has reached Rs 67.87 crore.The overseas market has contributed Rs 23.30 crore to the movie’s gross earnings. India accounts for 77.03% of the reported share.
