'She didn't approve entry': How a 2.30am food delivery triggered ugly clash at Greater Noida society
A video showing a woman allegedly abusing and threatening security guards has surfaced.

NOIDA: A late-night delivery turned contentious at a Greater Noida West society after a guard stopped a delivery agent at the gate when the woman who had placed the order allegedly did not approve his entry, triggering an argument that later escalated into alleged abuse and assault.According to the society rules, the guard noted his details in the register and called up the woman to inform her that the agent had been denied entry into the society.The incident took place at Amrapali Centurian Park Terrace Homes in Bisrakh on Wednesday.A video of the confrontation surfaced on social media, showing the woman arguing with the guard and allegedly hitting and attempting to kick him.According to police, the delivery agent of a quick-commerce company reached gate number 2 of the society around 2.30am to deliver the order.The woman had placed the order but allegedly did not approve the agent’s entry into the society.As per the society’s rules, the guard noted the delivery agent’s details in the register and called the woman to inform her that the agent had been stopped at the gate.She then objected to the delivery agent being denied entry, following which an argument broke out between her and the guard.The confrontation subsequently escalated. In the nearly five-minute video, the woman can be heard using abusive and derogatory language against the guard and threatening him. She is also seen moving towards him, hitting him and attempting to kick him.She is heard telling the guard to stay away from her and warning him of consequences if he “messes” with her again. She also threatens to call senior police officials and is heard making remarks about hitting the guard with her footwear.Bhanu Pratap Singh, security officer of AP Securitas Pvt Ltd, whose guards are deployed at the society, submitted a complaint at the Cherry County police outpost under Bisrakh police station.A sub-inspector told TOI that the guards should not have stopped the delivery agent at night as the woman had ordered food. He added that nobody should be denied food or water.Police said no FIR had been registered yet, but the woman was detained in connection with the incident.A resident of the society, Amit Gupta, said, “Whatever might have been the reason, the woman’s behaviour towards the guards was uncalled for.”The society’s AOA said the woman is a flat owner and lives alone. It has issued her a letter seeking an explanation for the incident.
