The Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), Hyderabad, under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has invited applications for the engagement of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) trade apprentices for the year 2026-27.A total of 432 tentative vacancies have been announced across various trades. Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961.Eligible candidates can apply through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal. The last date to submit applications is September 16, 2026.

- Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant): 6 posts
- Motor Mechanics (Vehicle): 3 posts
- Draughtsman (Mechanical): 1 post
- Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA): 65 posts
- Diesel Mechanic: 3 posts
- Carpenter: 5 posts

NFC Apprentice recruitment 2026: Eligibility
Candidates must have passed Class 10 and ITI in the relevant trade.Applicants must be at least 18 years old as on the closing date of applications. The upper age limit is:
- General category: 25 years
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 28 years
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST): 30 years
Candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing an apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, in a government, public sector undertaking (PSU) or private organisation are not eligible to apply.Candidates with a postgraduate qualification are also not eligible.
NFC Apprentice recruitment 2026: Stipend
Selected candidates in the listed trades will receive a monthly stipend.Candidates in trades including Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Machinist and several other technical trades will receive Rs 11,040 per month. Candidates in the Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) and some other trades will receive Rs 10,560 per month.

The selection committees of NFC will review the applications and select candidates through a walk-in interview.Details will be communicated to selected candidates through email. The date for the commencement of training will also be informed to selected candidates through email.
