‘Mirzapur The Movie’ continued its theatrical run on Friday, September 11, recording a decline in its daily India net collection. The Pankaj Tripathi starrer earned Rs 9.00 cr on its eighth day.According to Sacnilk, the film’s Day 8 collection came from 6,763 shows. It recorded an overall occupancy of 29.0% across India. The latest figures bring the movie’s total India net collection to Rs 157.45 cr.

The eighth-day earnings marked a 14.7% decline from the previous day’s collection. ‘Mirzapur The Movie’ had collected Rs 10.55 cr on Thursday, September 10. The film opened in cinemas on September 4 with Rs 25.75 cr. It witnessed strong growth during its opening weekend, earning Rs 32.00 cr on Saturday and Rs 36.00 cr on Sunday.The collections then moderated during the weekdays. The film earned Rs 16.00 cr on Monday, followed by Rs 15.60 cr on Tuesday. Wednesday brought in Rs 12.55 cr, while Thursday contributed Rs 10.55 cr. The first week ended with Rs 148.45 cr in India net collections. With another Rs 9.00 cr coming in on Day 8, the film has now reached Rs 157.45 cr.

The movie’s Hindi 2D version recorded an overall occupancy of 31.49% on Day 8. Morning shows registered 13.46%, while afternoon shows recorded 27.77%. Evening screenings performed better with an occupancy of 33.38%. Night shows recorded the highest occupancy of the day at 47.77%.
Worldwide collection reaches Rs 225.55 cr
‘Mirzapur The Movie’ has also maintained its presence in overseas markets. The film added Rs 2.50 cr to its overseas gross collection on Day 8. Its cumulative overseas gross earnings have now reached Rs 38.00 cr. Meanwhile, the India gross collection currently stands at Rs 187.55 cr.Combining the India and overseas figures gives the film a worldwide gross collection of Rs 225.55 cr.

Pankaj Tripathi heads the ensemble cast
Pankaj Tripathi plays Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi in ‘Mirzapur The Movie’. Ali Fazal portrays Govind “Guddu” Pandit, while Divyenndu plays Phoolchand “Munna” Tripathi, Kaleen’s son. Jitendra Kumar appears as Vinay “Bablu” Pandit. Jitendra Kumar replaces Vikrant Massey, who played the character in the original series.The cast also features Ravi Kishan as Babban Yadav and Sushant Singh as Bhairav Singh Karnawat.
