Its latest collection came in below the previous day’s figure.According to Sacnilk, ‘Hi’ earned Rs 77 lakhs net in India on Day 5. The collection was recorded across 747 shows. The film’s India net total has now reached Rs 7.37 crore. Its cumulative India gross collection stands at Rs 8.55 crore.
‘Hi’ box office: Tuesday collection drops by 14.4%
The Day 5 earnings represent a 14.4% decline from the previous day’s net collection of Rs 90 lakhs. The film had recorded Rs 96 lakhs on its first Monday based on the detailed daily figures. The Tamil version continues to account for most of the movie’s domestic business. It collected Rs 77 lakhs net on Tuesday from 747 shows. The Telugu version added Rs 4 lakhs from 139 shows.
‘Hi’: Tamil version records strongest occupancy
The Tamil release registered an overall occupancy of 23.03% on Day 5. Morning shows recorded 17.46% occupancy. Afternoon screenings performed slightly better at 22.08%. The evening shows registered 12.77% occupancy. Night screenings witnessed the highest turnout of the day. They recorded an occupancy of 30.46%.
