Sunny Deol has finished shooting ‘Antony’, the high-octane action-thriller he’s been working on amid a busy line-up of projects. Debutant director Balaji Ganesh, who previously assisted AR Murugadoss, helms the film, which went on floors in March.

According to Variety India, filming is done, and the makers plan to conclude the project with a montage song choreographed by Vijay Ganguly.

‘Antony’ stars Sunny Deol as a police officer on a mission to bring down a crime syndicate in Goa. Jyotika co-stars in a key role, and Vijay Varma plays the main villain. Post-production is expected to start soon, and the film is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2027.

In the meantime, Sunny Deol is also gearing up to play Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari‘s much-anticipated epic ‘Ramayana: Rise of a Legend’, slated for release around Diwali weekend. Ranbir Kapoor headlines as Lord Rama, alongside Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, ‘KGF’ star Yash as Ravana and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. Rounding out the pan-India cast are Lara Dutta (Kaikeyi), Rakul Preet Singh (Surpanakha), Arun Govil (King Dashrath), Indira Krishnan (Queen Kaushalya), Sheeba Chaddha (Manthara), Adinath Kothare (Bharat) and Kunal Kapoor (Lord Indra).

Besides both parts of ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Antony’, Sunny has another project lined up in ‘Gabru’, where he takes on a strong, emotionally rich role that celebrates resilience, spirit and grounded storytelling. Directed by Shashank Udapurkar and produced by Vishal Rana and Om Chhangani, the film casts Deol as a middle-aged family man who, after being shaped by unexpected circumstances, learns to rediscover and fully embrace life.
